ABOUT US

Daniel D'Ambrogio in front of the amazing hills of Sicily. The Sicilian Way

Here I am standing on the edge of Santa Margherita over looking the incredibly hilly landscape filled with vineyards and olive groves.

Our Story

The Sicilian Way was founded in 2021 by myself, Daniel D’Ambrogio. I created this business as I wanted to introduce the Wirral and the rest of the UK to a world of fantastic tastes and aromas from my beautiful island of Sicily.

I have been exceptionally fortunate to have enjoyed authentic Sicilian food all my life.  Now all I need to do is bring this amazing culture back to the Wirral and the UK. Offering all my new customers (and hopefully new friends) the best hand-picked products Sicily has got to show.

That is why we have created the Wirral’s first and Merseyside’s best all Sicilian food store. The Sicilian Way offers traditional products only found in Sicily. These products are created by families whose recipes have been passed down from generation to generation.

We source all our own products making sure they’re second to none. This means you can only find our products here at The Sicilian Way. We are a small local business based in the Wirral, but we want to make a big difference with the quality of food you enjoy.

Creating The Sicilian Way is my one way of supporting the local businesses and producers of my Local area in Sicily. With traditions that have run in the family for generations. Using methods and skills that are not used in today’s modern world. Producing products that no machine or chemicals could produce.

That is what we want to offer at The Sicilian Way. We want to give you the experience that I have fortunately experienced all my life!

We hope you enjoy our products as much as we enjoy offering them to you. If you have any questions at all or want to know more about me or the company please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Grazie a tutti

Daniel D’Ambrogio

Parlermo Market

This is the Market in Palermo, the capital of Sicily. Busy and always chaotic but is always a fantastic place to go and try some street food and find some amazing products to cook later in the day.
